Conservation and thoughtful stewardship of the environment is of the utmost importance.
Today’s students committed to making a difference in how humans use, see, and care for our environment are crucial in leaving a healthier world for years to come. As pollution and climate change become increasingly dangerous problems, it’s imperative for passionate students to be encouraged to make a difference.
This $5,000 scholarship aims to support students who are devoted to making a difference and caring for our environment.
Any high school senior or undergraduate student who has work, internship, and/or volunteering experience in environmental causes may apply for this scholarship, but applicants pursuing STEM majors are preferred.

Established in 1947, the Voice of Democracy audio-essay program provides high school students with the unique opportunity to express themselves in regards to a democratic and patriotic-themed recorded essay. Each year, nearly 25,000 students in grades 9-12 enter to win their share of more than $1 million in educational scholarships and incentives awarded through the program.
The national first place winner receives a $35,000 scholarship paid directly to the recipient's American university, college, or vocational/technical school. A complete list of other national scholarships range from $1,000-$21,000, and the first place winner from each VFW Department (state) wins at leas a scholarship of $1,000.
Before submitting your essay, read the rules and eligibility requirements, and find your sponsoring local VFW Post as applications must be turned in by midnight, October 31st.

This scholarship seeks to honor the life of Dustan Biegler by supporting high school seniors and adult learners pursuing a business degree or advanced training in the Construction or Skilled Trades fields.
Dustan’s path to success started in the trades as a Roofer. While he was up shingling homes and restoring roofs, he was creating a legacy of knowledge, hard work, and leadership. Dustan earned himself as one of the most well-known leaders in the Roofing Industry, and earned his spot in many people’s hearts, as he was known for his humble leadership style and desire to help everyone become successful.
Any high school seniors and adult learners who will attend trade school may apply for this scholarship.
To apply, please tell us why you’re passionate about pursuing a future in the Construction or Skilled Trades fields, who has influenced you to pursue this path, and how you plan to make a difference.

The Elks National Foundation (ENF) awards 500 four-year scholarships based on the following: scholarship, leadership, and financial need. National awards range from $1,000 per year to $12,500 per year and will be announced in April 2023.

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to obtain a four-year college education and graduate debt-free, and the opportunity to obtain a graduate or professional degree. The scholarship is worth up to $6,000 each semester.

The Elks National Foundation (ENF) awards 300 Legacy Awards nationally. Legacy Awards provide $4,000 scholarships for children and grandchildren of dues-paying Elk members. Winners will be announced in late April 2024.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to students in their final year of high school. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities.
150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship. Apply here through October 2, 2023

The Scholarship Program is open to seniors in high school who meet the eligibility requirements. If you are an eligible student, by completing a college planning step using your College Board account, you will automatically earn a chance to win a $500 scholarship and an additional chance to win a $40,000 scholarship.
